🎉 It's already been a year for La Petite Maison des Bords de Loire! 🎉
A year ago, we took on a somewhat crazy challenge: to transform an old ruined building into a charming, bright and welcoming guest house.
🔨 From darkness to light:
This house, once dark, low-ceilinged, partitioned and poorly insulated, has now been completely transformed.
We have:
✨ Enlarged the interior spaces
🌿 Extended the garden
🪟 Created large openings to let in light
🏡 Raised the ceiling and added two bedrooms
🛁 Completely redesigned the bathroom and kitchen area
🌞 Built a terrace
🏠 Renovated the façade and re-insulated the house from floor to roof
And today... we are celebrating our first anniversary as hosts! 🎂
💛 Welcoming guests to our cottage is much more than just providing accommodation. It is offering a place to meet, share and make wonderful discoveries. We love seeing the wonder on people's faces when they discover the place, listening to their stories, and knowing that through a short stay, a holiday or a simple break, we have been able to contribute to their relaxation, their memories, or that little moment in time that they will never forget.
